What we do and do not do

What We Do

  • Provide Structured Special Education
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
  • Support Early Intervention and School Readiness
  • Maintain Clear Daily Routines
  • Monitor and Communicate Progress

We provide a structured special education program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for children with developmental and learning differences. Each child receives an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to their unique strengths and developmental needs.

Our program emphasizes early intervention and school readiness, helping children build communication skills, emotional regulation, independence, and classroom confidence. Through clear daily routines and a structured learning environment, children feel secure, supported, and ready to learn.

We continuously monitor student progress, adjust learning strategies when needed, and maintain open communication with families to ensure meaningful and measurable growth.

What We Do Not Do

We Are Not a Medical Clinic

We Do Not Replace Clinical Assessment

We Do Not Guarantee Immediate Results

We Do Not Use Punitive Discipline

My Little Pumpkin Special Education School (MLP) is an educational institution in Phnom Penh, not a medical clinic. We do not provide medical diagnoses, psychiatric treatment, or hospital-based services. Formal psychological assessments and medical diagnoses must be conducted by licensed medical or psychological professionals.

At MLP, we support children’s development through structured special education programs and individualized learning plans tailored to each child’s needs. We believe that meaningful progress in special education requires time, consistency, and strong collaboration between school and family. For this reason, we do not promise immediate results.

Our classrooms are guided by structured teaching strategies and positive behavioral support. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment, and we do not use punitive discipline practices.
